So! I am pretty proud of myself. I have the hardest time disciplining Kamryn or having her face any consequences really. Well today we went to Famous Footwear to buy me some new church shoes for tomorrow and she wanted new shoes, but she doesn't need new shoes, so I told her I wasn't buying her any because she didn't need them and that she had plenty of shoes to hold her over to summer. Well that didn't go over very well, she started screaming and crying and saying "I WANT NEW SHOES" Therefore we left the store immediately following me paying for the shoes I needed. Then she calms down somewhat in the van so I decide to run into TJ Maxx and see if they have a cute purse in my price range (under 15.00) and so it took awhile weedling thru them all to check prices. She immediately starts in with asking for things and I tell her, I am not buying toys today you just had christmas and your birthday you don't need any new toys. Oh my word! You would have thought I told her I was murdering her at sunset or something! She screamed all through the store and was angry with me for not buying her what she asked for....well, after we were done there we went for Ice cream because I told them all when we were done shopping that we would get an Ice cream cone, well I deemed Bens behavior inappropriate for hiding in the racks and I deemed Kamryns behavior inappropriate for her temper tantrums, so Katie and I got an Ice cream cone on the way home and they did not! I am proud I stuck to my guns and didn't give in, it was hard but I think in the long run it will be worth it!
