So this week is Art City Days where they have the carnival setup and booths and all the junk food you can eat. Shaun felt bad that I wasn't going to take the kids to ride the rides because he has to work all week and can't come with us. So he Finageled $20 bucks out of the budget for us to go and have fun without him, so I took the kids down, I figured we would go to the carnival and let them ride some rides, I got to buy 20 tickets for my $20 bucks and the kids each got 3 rides out of it, we were there a whole 45 minutes! Then I figured we would go over to the craft fair and see what they had displayed because they have a whole road closed off for it, and NOTHING was there, except empty tents! Yet they have been advertizing it for weeks! I hope more people show up, it only has 2 days left. I hate when you move to a new town because you don't know how things are run, what the best day is to go and where the best places are to be. It was a totally frustrating experience. Not just because of the outrageous prices but because Ben is too scared to ride the adult rides, but he looks ridiculous on the little rides! Katie I think was the only one who truly enjoyed herself but there was so much more she wanted to do, She was upset we weren't able to buy more tickets with our measly $20 bucks. Kamryn was content but chickened out of some of the rides we were waiting in line for. Truly Frustrating. But we survived and now we are home for the remainder of the afternoon so I can spend 2 hours boiling black beans for our dinner. YEAH!!!!!!
